ON EFFORT TEAM CAME OUT WITH IN FIRST HALF
"I don't think we played really hard, I don't think we were doing the things we sort of emphasize in practice. Nothing egregious, again it just goes back to the way we play — you're asking all these guys to share the ball and do a lot."
ON DELANTE TRYING TO FIGURE THINGS OUT
"It's always tough when you have a really good freshman year and then your sophomore year you're sort of asked to do more things and have more responsibility. It's a lot. I think he's done terrifically in practice trying to improve all the things we're asking him to do. But it's a tough balance to ask him to share the ball, do all these other things, and then score. There's always a balance there that you've got to find. And it's not easy. It's not easy coaching it. It's not easy as a player figuring it out. But it takes time."
ON GASPERINI HAVING FEEL FOR WHEN TO PASS
"That's why I'm so happy with his development because that's one of the harder things to be able to do and he has a knack for it. I mean, he can score, he can pass, he can do a lot of different things."
